About The Site: Ashfield Estate is a 500 acre, family estate on the shores of Loch Sween in Mid Argyll.
About The Turbine: NHT Engineering is supplying a 500KW Pelton turbine to replace a 350KW Turgo turbine (supplied by another company). The Turgo had suffered catastrophic failure in 2006. NHT have designed a two jet horizontal Pelton for the client and are manufacturing the turbine currently for installation in summer 2008.
